HIKE MESSENGER
PROJECT TYPE
To Design sticker packs for Hike messaging app

The team at Hike wanted to introduce stickers for their messaging app. As the feature was being tested for the first
time the idea was to design a character that is relatable for a wider audience.
As the defined Target audience was 15 - 25 years old so based on research a cat and dog where chosen as they were
consistently popular.
Add paragraph text. Click “Edit Text” to update the font, size and more. To change and reuse text themes, go to Site Styles.

After many rounds of iteration and consumer feedback "Snuggle" the dog and " Miley" the cat were born.
The Hike Messenger saw over a million stickers shared within 24 hours of that update being rolled out.

Based on the overwhelming response by the hike consumer and great engagement rate a range of sticks packs were added to the hike app.
Expressions, different characters, famous crickets and actors, all regional festivals were the different sticker packs that were added to the app.
We also conducted various consumer survey sessions across the country where a group of consumer who matched the current and prospective hike consumers were gathered to help the designers and the marketing team understand the kind of words, slangs, expressions, colors the consumers use and would like to have as parts of their daily chats.
