Creating a Brand Identity for a Nature Resort
Built on a foundation of sustainability and wellness, Avatar is designed with it's unique stay options that are not just a way to bond with nature but also a path to create a conducive environment for families to come together and reap the best of what nature has to offer. The founders of Avatar Nature Resort believe in creating a world of comfort rooted in nature.
Avatar Nature Resort envisioned a brand identity that reflected the natural elements thoughtfully woven into its architecture and surroundings. Inspired by the resort's tranquil environment, a range of symbols derived from nature were explored to create a visual identity that embodied harmony, trust, and a deep connection to the landscape. The design process focused on capturing the essence of a serene retreat while creating a timeless and memorable brand experience for its visitors.
A range of symbols, typefaces, and colour palettes were explored to define the brand's visual language and evoke the desired emotional response. Each element was carefully evaluated to create an identity that reflected the resort's natural surroundings while conveying a sense of warmth, harmony, and tranquillity.
The final logo draws inspiration from the resort's sprawling mango orchards, a defining feature of its natural landscape and identity. The symbolic form captures the essence of growth, abundance, and a deep connection with nature, reflecting the tranquil experience the resort offers.
An earthy colour palette reinforces this bond with the land, evoking harmony, balance, and warmth, while the bold typography adds character and rhythm, creating a distinctive and memorable brand language.
FINAL LOGO
The final logo identity was extended across a comprehensive range of brand collaterals, including business cards, letterheads, signage, and other communication materials, to establish a cohesive and recognisable visual language. Each touchpoint was designed to reinforce the resort's identity and create a seamless brand experience for its guests.
To further enrich the visitor experience, a custom mural was created for the resort's entrance. Inspired by traditional Indian motifs and patterns, the artwork evokes a sense of warmth, hospitality, and cultural richness. The flowing composition brings together elements of nature, local heritage, and leisure, offering guests a visual introduction to the unique experiences and tranquil ambience that Avatar Nature Resort has to offer.
